Assistant Musical Director Mike Pratt and Carol Concert regular, Steve Cassidy, interrupted the Military Wives Choir York weekly rehearsal, at the beautiful St Wilfrid's Church, at Strensall Barracks, to run through some of the musical items for this years Carol Concert.
Tea, coffee and biscuits were on offer too - a bit too early for mince pies apparently!!
Having just appeared in the recent Festival of Rememberance at York Barbican, the Military Wives Choir are delighted to be re-appearing so soon, but this time with a Christmas repertoire.
Steve accompanied the choir with his guitar and Mike was called into action with his euphonium as the ladies sang some of our favourite Christmas classics.
Tickets still selling well - let's hope we have a really big audience to listen to this lovely ladies ensemble.
