Get your Christmas off to a cracking start with this ever-popular festive event. After 64 successful years this long-running community carol concert appeals to all ages and still plays to full houses. Appearing on stage this year: • York Railway Institute Band • Scarcroft Primary School • St Oswald’s CE Primary School • Stamford Bridge Community Choir • Steve Cassidy The Musical Director is Mike Pratt and hosting the event will be Rev Andrew Foster and BBC Radio York presenter, Adam Tomlinson. Join in with all your favourite Christmas carols and songs – whilst also listening to some of our local, very talented choirs and musicians. Proceeds from the concert will be shared by the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of York’s Christmas Cheer Fund along with Martin House Children’s Hospice (The Press nominated charity).

It is with deep regret that we have to announce the sad passing of committe member Janet High on Tuesday 9 February 2016.
This long established, popular, family Carol Concert will again be held at York Barbican on Sunday 11th December 2016 at 2.30 pm.
